The Otters (Old Trinity Water Polo Club) was founded in 2016. The playing group, made up of 18 players, is a relatively young cohort – spanning Old Boys from the classes of 2005 to 2015.

The Otters had a very successful inaugural season, making the grand final and losing by only a goal in the final minute. It was a pleasure to be a part of the club’s foundation and seeing our early success in the pool has spurred all the Otters on to go one better.

What I am most proud of is the culture that we have managed to cultivate at this young club. Striking a balance of social and serious water polo, the Otters are a delight to play and train with and I feel the group embodies the values of integrity and mateship that Trinity as a community has become known for.

I encourage any new players that wish to be involved in the club to register their interest with me and even begin coming down to some training sessions at the Dam (AKA the Trinity pool). New members are always welcome.
